Q-SEAL™ polyurethane detector loops sealants provide a weather and chemical protective seal for wire loops employed in actuated intersections and preformed inductance loops for gate and door installations as well as for sealing saw cuts.
Available in both one-component and two-component formulations, Q-SEAL™ can be used on both asphalt and concrete surfaces. Q-SEAL™ products exhibit exceptional chemical resistance to de-icing salts, gasoline, hydraulic brake fluid and motor oil and are approved by most of the DOTs in the USA and the Ministries of Transportations in Canada.
Q-SEAL™ 290S
Q-SEAL™ 290 is a one-component thixotropic moisture-curing polyurethane detector loop sealant that is easy to use and requires no mixing and is suitable for use under most temperature conditions.

Note: In cases where the loop is to be installed in the road structure prior to the placement of the final asphalt wearing course, it is strongly recommended that Q-Seal™ 295 two-component loop sealant be used for these applications rather than Q-Seal™ 290S.

Q-SEAL™295
Q-SEAL™ 295 is a fast cure 2-component, polyurethane, detector loop sealant. It has no reaction with the asphalt and concrete and therefore will cause virtually no deterioration even with low quality asphalt or concrete. It exhibits no "bubble" or "mushroom" problem and will not expand or flow above the joint. Q-SEAL™ 295 is a 100% solids system that contains no solvents and is zero V.O.C.
Q-SEAL™ 295 is available in both summer and winter grades. Each product is designed for maximum performance under the following ambient temperature conditions
